Do you provide a Vail airport shuttle from EGE?
Yes. We meet you at EGE baggage claim with a name sign, handle your luggage, and drive you directly to Vail, Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch, or your private residence. Beaver Creek is one of the shortest airport-to-resort transfers in Colorado at around 30–35 minutes.
How much does a Vail taxi or car service cost?
We publish flat, all-inclusive rates by vehicle and route — see our Rates section above. As examples, Eagle airport to Vail starts at $225, Denver to Vail starts at $550, and Eagle to Aspen starts at $550, each one-way and confirmed before your trip with no surge pricing. Rates do not include the standard 20% driver fee, which is added on top of the quoted price.
Do you pick up from the Vail Valley Jet Center or Rifle FBO?
Yes. We coordinate private aviation arrivals at the Vail Valley Jet Center (VVJC) at Eagle and at Rifle Garfield County Airport (RIL) with tail-number tracking and planeside meet-and-greet. A $25 ramp fee applies at the Vail Valley Jet Center and a $125 ramp fee at Rifle.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track all commercial and private flights in real time. If your flight is delayed, early, or diverted, your driver's schedule adjusts automatically so your car is waiting when you step out of the terminal.
Are child car seats provided?
We keep clean, well-maintained forward-facing and booster seats on hand — just let us know what you need when you request your quote and we'll have them installed before pickup. One thing to note: we don't stock rear-facing seats for infants, so if you're traveling with a baby, plan to bring your own.
Do your vehicles meet Colorado winter driving laws?
Yes. Every vehicle complies with the Colorado DOT Passenger Vehicle Traction Law, equipped with commercial winter tires and 4WD/AWD systems for safe travel over Vail Pass and Glenwood Canyon.
How far in advance should I book?
All trips are pre-arranged at least 45 minutes before pickup. For peak ski weekends, holidays, and airport arrivals, we recommend booking 1–2 weeks ahead to secure your preferred vehicle class.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to change or cancel a booking. Your reservation is secured with a 25% deposit — while that deposit isn't refundable, we'll apply it as a credit toward a future ride, so it's never lost. Your full terms are included with the electronic charter confirmation you'll receive after booking.
How to get to Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen and Breckenridge
An honest look at your options from both mountain airports and Denver — distances, drive times, and which choice fits which traveler.
Choosing your gateway: Eagle (EGE) vs. Denver (DEN)
Colorado's high country is served by two very different airports. Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) — the Eagle Vail Airport — sits right in the mountains, minutes from Vail and Beaver Creek and about 90 minutes from Aspen. It has fewer flights but puts you at your resort fast. Denver International Airport (DEN) is 2 to 4.5 hours away depending on your destination, but offers far more flights and better fares. The rule of thumb: fly into Eagle when you can get a convenient flight and want to be on the slopes sooner; fly into Denver when you want more schedule options or a lower airfare, and treat the scenic I-70 drive as part of the trip. For private aviation, the Vail Valley Jet Center at Eagle and Rifle (RIL) to the west round out the options.
From Eagle Airport (EGE)
EGE to Vail is about 35 miles and 30–40 minutes east on I-70 — one of the quickest airport-to-resort transfers in Colorado. EGE to Beaver Creek is even shorter at roughly 30–35 minutes via the Avon exit. EGE to Breckenridge runs about 75 miles and 1.5 hours east over Vail Pass into Summit County. And EGE to Aspen is about 70 miles and 1.5 hours west through Glenwood Canyon and Highway 82 — notably, this route stays on the valley floor with no high mountain pass, making it the most weather-reliable way into Aspen of any commercial airport. From Eagle, a private car service means you're met at baggage claim and driven straight to your door while shuttle passengers are still waiting for the van to fill.
From Denver Airport (DEN)
Denver to Vail is roughly 100–120 miles and 2 to 2.5 hours west on I-70, climbing over the Continental Divide through the Eisenhower Tunnel — the classic Colorado mountain drive. Denver to Beaver Creek is a touch farther at about 2.5 hours. Denver to Breckenridge is the shortest of the four at roughly 80 miles and 1.5–2 hours, exiting I-70 at Frisco into Summit County. Denver to Aspen is the long haul — about 200–220 miles and 3.5 to 4.5 hours via I-70 and Highway 82. On every one of these routes, winter storms and weekend ski traffic are the real variable, not the distance; a professional mountain chauffeur who monitors I-70 conditions and Vail Pass closures is the difference between arriving relaxed and white-knuckling an icy interstate in a rental car.
Your options, compared
Shared shuttle is the cheapest per-person option, but it runs on a fixed schedule, stops at multiple properties along the way, and can add 45–90 minutes to your trip while the van fills and unloads. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) has limited and inconsistent availability at the mountain airports and late at night, and surge pricing on a ski weekend can rival — or exceed — a private car. Rental cars give you flexibility but put you behind the wheel on unfamiliar, steep, icy mountain roads, often requiring chains or winter tires under Colorado's Traction Law, plus parking and fuel. Private car service costs more than a shared shuttle but delivers a locked flat rate with no surge, door-to-door with no stops, a driver who tracks your flight and handles your gear, and a vehicle built and equipped for mountain winter. For families, groups with ski equipment, and anyone who values arriving on time and stress-free, it's the option that consistently makes sense.
Planning around the 2027 Aspen airport closure
If you're heading to Aspen or Snowmass between April 4 and November 19, 2027, note that Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) will be closed entirely for runway reconstruction — no commercial or private flights. During that window, Eagle (EGE) and Denver (DEN) become the primary gateways to Aspen, with Rifle (RIL) and Grand Junction (GJT) as additional options for private and diverted travelers. The Eagle to Aspen ground route, already the most reliable, becomes the essential link. Demand on these transfers is expected to climb well ahead of the closure, so booking early is strongly recommended for the 2027 season.
